I get them from Walmart, they have various colors and sizes in their household rugs. I just roughly cut the shape where it goes up along the dash and cut a hole for the gear shift.

I find it very hard to believe anyone can panic stop without shoes on.

What does footwear or lack thereof have to do with pressure applied to the pedal? You’re pressing on soft rubber not a cheese grater.

I can't believe how popular threads on footwear are on this forum. It really never ceases to amaze me.

Thread after thread whining about how supertruckers wear flip flops and come to find out half of you don't even wear those, you drive barefoot.

    Crazy world.

Real men wear camo Crocs anyway, in case you didn't know.

You are applying pressure. To panic stop you have to apply a lot more pressure than stopping for a red light. Surely you can comprehend that. With shoes on it is easier to apply that pressure.

I’m not a perfect driver and I’ve had to get on the brakes pretty hard over the years and never once did I think I would’ve stopped faster if I had been wearing shoes. Pressure is pressure, you can apply the same amount whether there is an insole and a layer of rubber between your foot and the pedal or not.

Only single guys can wear those, married guys are just asking for trouble if they throw a pair on and go out in public.

I never wear gloves. Firewood, metal work, quarrying stone, building rock walls, whatever.

Drove barefoot as much as possible too, keeps the footie funk in check. Theres a lot of 3rd world ick in the parris island showers thats been with me ever since.
