Some people are happy there too. If you feel Swift is a good fit for you then drive for Swift. I wouldn't let some driver complaining about a company influence your decision. You may have a great long lasting career with them. Personally I would just be weary of the stuff the recruiters are promising you in your case. I wouldn't say that they are an evil company but like I said sometimes the recruiters of these mega-companies promise or tell you something just to get you there. As long as you show up they get paid whether you stay the rest of the day or not!

If u wanna go OTR really do ur homework on OTR outfits. I've heard Conway
was decent but not great Crete drivers don't seem too pissed. Jus make sure ur good and ready to make this jump because if jump into a bad OTR situation you'll pray for a position back at ur current job. I worked Ive worked local for 2 years now and absolutely love. The only way I would go OTR would be pulling tanker or hazardous waste, that's it. Good luck bro. -
Yes Crete is a good company too! If you are interested in Crete/Schaffer/Sunflower/Hunt make sure you speak to one of their recruiters. They only accept newbies from a few certain accredited schools.

Don't get me wrong local does have its advantages but not at the risk of destorying my cdl in the process. I've always wanted to drive otr. Just want to make sure I find a good outfit to do it with. I think for the time being im just gonna take the refresher. It can hurt right? Like I said I have the apps out there. Plan on calling them later this week when I get some time off from work. Set my self up with a refresher course and hopefully land a job with good company.
