You are not really running 2 logs......the elogs is what you work with as far as hours go, the paper is just a backup......you just make sure the paper logs are never where they can be seen and just tell DOT you are on elogs.....................my students run elog and paper, but I've written "Training Log" on the front of the logs.

    Yes, I am a Trainer.

The NE region sucks....LOL.....I can't really tell you anything about that except that I hate running New Jersey.

And, Yes, you have to quit your current job before going to Orientation.

I cant stand the NE region its not the traffic its the tight spots you have to go through and most drivers up there wont lift a finger for you which is frustrating.
wait till you do NYC or any where close to the city its such a pain to do
since I have done all the NE I can do it but for some reason I get stuck up there
when I was running it with my other company

that IS the definition of running two logs.

a friends wife was taking her 10hr at a scale houes (closed sige on) a state cop woke her up and told her she had to move "she couldn't take a break their" she told him she was out of hours and couldn't drive, he told her move the truck or he would tow it, she did and called loges in the morning they told her to "make it leagle on paper and to not tell dot she was on e-logs for a week until it was ok...?

Lol when I am running and i cant find a place to stop I usually turn to a scale house
and take my 10 hour break there since most of them have parking there for trucks
    I have never been bothered
