Used to run Federalsburg Md to City of Industry Cal, Cartaret NJ to Pendelton Oregon, Columbus Oh to Sacramento Cal, on a regular basis. It wasn't a big deal and I liked it better that way. You only had to open the trailer doors twice a week.

I don't do them right now lot because they don't play good to go to cali. I hate to go to new jersey but that's what pays good for me. I go new jersey to chicago mostly in the last two months. But i used to pick up around michigan and indiana and got out to la, ca then riverside, ca to seattle, wa, then from seattle, wa to jacksonville, fl and back home. Those were the best ones!!!!

I left my house in Olympia Tuesday afternoon and dead headed to Yakima. Picked up there Wed. morning and then proceeded North a 100 miles for another pickup west of Wenatchee.
Spent my 10s in Missoula, MT... Gillette, Wy... Sioux City, IA... Mt. Vernon, IL... Umadilla, Ga...
Delivery appointment is tommorow morning Tues... at the Wal-mart DC in Arcadia, FL... Im about 12 miles away in Punta Gorda.
Called at 4am this morning and they said they would take delivery if I got there by 1000... I arrived at 0945 and recieving played "dumb"... I should of got a name when I was on the phone.
I ran 60mph down from Umadilla for the early unload... otherwise cruise is usually set for 58mph.
Perfect load... 36k in the box. Excellent weather. Excellent fuel milage means at least and extra $0.02/mile... and excellent scenery -
If you delivered all around the northeast,Familiar with log books and weigh stations, you won't have any problems.Think of it as a extended neighborhood. It's not much different than where you are use to going now ,only farther.

I think we're getting ahead of ourselves. A little bit. Coast to coast runs are great. Especially some of them. But what about DOT inspections, weigh station, fuel, etc? It's not all fun and games. Right?
