Explosives and Regen at temperatures over 1000°F...

    ...What could possibly go wrong?

Hopefully you don't have a grass burner exhaust.

Pro tip: when the truck catches on fire, pull the 5th wheel release real quick, pull the truck away super-fast, drop that trailer on the ground and run. You'll look like a hero. Nobody will be mad about those dollies or your air lines.

Also: flip-flops make it difficult to run. Wear real shoes or boots during parked regens with explosives onboard.

Are you referring to those that were built before the advent of egr? The ones that often lasted longer than drivers cared to drive them and were often able to be fixed at roadside with basic tools and simple logic? The trucks that didn't know what a check engine light is...those ones?

A "POS pre emissions truck" wouldn't be having any of the problems you're having. If that dang truck dies on the highway and you don't have a shoulder to pull over on and someone runs into that trailer with explosives on board..... well.... nothing good can come from that.

I understand you don't have a choice what truck you drive if you're a company driver. But just cuz the truck you drive is newer does not make it better or more dependable.

Solution ... The 2nd gen SCR Volvo trucks don't do parked regen anymore. It's all passive regen while driving.....none of that parked BS anymore.

Maybe time to talk to the company and educate them that there are better choices out there than what they're using.... Especially given the loads.

With a EPA10 or later you don't put a simpe weedburner on.
    You need a diffuser.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
