driving in darkness

    I don't care who you are.....after 16-18 hours....your eyes are tired. And they won't focus as well as when you start out fresh. I usually just lay my clutch foot right on the brake pedal just enough to make the lights come on when I'm backing up at night.

    If you pull the same trailer all the time....you might try a couple of the GOOD QUALITY LED marker lights jusst for the corners.

    This may not help on a busy interstate but I have 4 back-up lights mounted on the truck and they help to watch the load in the dark and backing up they are great especially when pulling a 90ft lowbed with jeep and booster they are deffinetly needed.

    As for looking ahead I have 2 lightforce driving lights on the front and they light up the road great.

    one trick I have seen people use when backing in poorly lit areas is to keep some of those glow sticks on hand, you can use them for marking lights or hang them with a string on poles or objects that you do not want to run over.
