Only problem I would have with Jim Palmer, is I only have had my driver's license for about a year. They require 3 years. Unless they waive that at times

Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Veriha trucking has a yard in Milford, PA and a school in Marinette, WI. They're not quite a mega.
They'll do east coast once in a while, but mostly close to WI, IL, MN.
Fleet is a mix of manuals and automatics. -
Jim Palmer has lots of west coast freight.

Truck driving requires that you change your life to drive. It takes a dedicated person to stay with it for any length of time. Looking for the easy way to drive or looking for a company that has lax requirements is not the way to enter this career. IMHO I believe you should look for another type of job.
-
Fortunately, I didn't come here asking if this job was for me. I simply asked about companies. I don't need opinions on whether or not I should drive. You are not the one paying my bills, pal.
-
Jim Palmer is a bit picky, like Prime, because they get sooooo many applications. Don't expect Jim Palmer to make any exceptions.

You actions reflect on all of us. You should hear more of it before you go and get into deep trouble. You being blind into what can happen is almost laughable except for the fact that it will happen to you. So go ahead pal continue to be ignorant and just belief that it's a job to pay your bills. And in the end we all pay for your mistakes.

Do you just go onto posts to cause issues?
WesternPlains and VIDEODROME Thank this. -
No, but I see a problem when one exist. Look, you may have been influenced by other drivers that are way below the standard and given an idea that driving a truck is simple. There's too many hidden trap holes you can get into by not knowing, which most times comes to the public eye. It's your responsibility to carry on with the high traditions of professional driving because you are the one under the scope the public looks at. My time is over, I've done my driving now it's up to you. You can get your CDL and not listen to any driver with any experience, get the load from point A to point B and get paid for it. That attitude or ability will get you by for maybe a year or two. But sooner or later you'll be caught up in the regulations and might go to jail. It happens all the time. There's just too many laws and requirements that can take your money or your freedom and when you get that CDL the judge and all other enforcement people expect you to be a higher quality of a driver. So do yourself a favor. Latch onto someone that knows the ropes and get qualified under the CDL and worry about the job when you do get the license.
88 Alpha Thanks this.
