Tell them you will drive solo until they find your team partner. At least you will be making some money to pay your bills.

 

Finally got an answer this afternoon. I'm to pick up a tractor at the Richmond VA Peterbuilt. I will be solo until they find me a partner. I hope it won't take too long because the way Angel was talking, even though I'm solo, I'm still to be paid at the team rate? I hope I heard that wrong because that ain't nothing! And picking this truck up, I'm a little nervous about it. Sounds like an abandoned one. We will see.

That is good news. Your truck should be serviced and ready to run. If they are paying you at the team rate for your first eight weeks as a team is paid at 38 cents per mile split, not bad as a solo. I don't think they will pay you only 19 cents, but keep us updated and stay safe!

 

I just sat in on a presentation today its 500 taken over 10 weeks,not all at once. 10 per month after that

Maybe The recruiter told me wrong then that's what I was told at the presentation. I will talk to job placment tomorrow but you guys know more than me

I was very avid about bringing my pet and asked a few times about all fees and dos and donts she told me those numbers and said anything that wasn't considered an agressive breed was good to go

Either way I can't wait to start with usx seems like a very good company

Ugh! Went to pick up that truck---NASTY! Refused it. So now they are sending me to Lexington NC to pick one up tomorrow. And I think they've got a team mate for me. From Joliet IL.Ugh again.

 

Lexington is nice. Do not take 92301. We turned that one in 2 months ago. Numerous problems that were never fixed. I was paid 31 cpm waiting for my teammate in Feb. Best of luck.
