    I agree.........they attack.

Of course from 100 yards we look smaller, so they figure, "Hey..........one vehicle...........no problem. He doesn't move, I'll move 'em."

They start their dash, and just as they're about to broad side you......"Hey,....this thing's pretty big......."OH S%#$!"

    Road pizza.

Sammycat, you and TruckerDave are too nice to me. It was a great meal, and I'm glad I had the time to stop so we could vist. I don't get up here that often. I can't thank you enough.

    Speaking of leaving..........I didn't.

Dispatch confirmed that my delivery appoint was for 1900 today....not 0700. Seemed to be a typographical snufu with the load assignment information................Drat!

So, I'm still here, staring at the other trucks, waiting for the clock to move. I'll roll out in another couple of hours.

    sammycat and NoCoCraig Thank this.

Anytime you invite me, I'll be there.

And yeah, I'll come up 5 hours short on the reset

But I slept in, caught up on paperwork, TTR posts, got my pre-assign organized. So you could say I put the time to good use, but I'm bored to death.

I have a pre-assign that picks up in Silver Springs right after I get unloaded in Lancaster, which will deliver in York, PA tomorrow. Not being allowed to deliver this load early will put me under some serious time constraints if there's a delay of any kind. I'll have to run for a while tonight so that I can reach the receiver in York PA with sufficient time to unload. Plus, I have to get this trailer fixed, so I have the option to drop it.

Hate driving at night after being up all day.........................Guess I'll make a fresh pot of coffee...........Load in a Molly Hatchet CD. :yes2557:

I don't know if it was even the same exact stretch of highway. I thought it was weird to see a fawn walking along the side of the road. Then I came on here and saw you hit one on the same highway. What are the odds?
