Driving over 11 hours?

    welcome to truck driving, its an issue that pretty much all of us will encounter from time to time i wouldn't stress to much about it though, unless there is an incident most of the authorities know about it and you'll find most police will give you the benefit of the doubt if you explain your situation.

    Personal conveyance is a useful option. If it's not consistently abused. Reality is most Mega companies won't even allow you to utilize the option on their elogs anyways.

    I worked in compliance at one time and decided to audit one of our drivers elogs. He was abusing personal conveyance so badly it was a joke. I mean stuff like going onto pc after he ran out of his 11 hr drive time in Bakersfield, driving to L.A., swapping trailers, driving back to Bakersfield etc. When I confronted him about it, he played dumb, like he didn't know what he was doing was wrong.

    It's guys like that are the reason companies disallow the use of pc.
