That's what I have done and almost 100% of the companies I pass their driving record pre quals... Even with the recent speeding ticket I have read on every company site that 1 in 3 years is the max.... Not sure why some people in this thread seem to act like I'm not hireable... I'll def have my ducks in a row though before starting school.... Already started talking to a couple companies on a limited basis.

People that think you're not hireable or may have trouble getting hired, most know this industry and how strict companies are these days with hiring people.Once upon a time it was easy to get hired by a trucking company but now insurance companies make the call. You'd be surprised how many applicants get turned away because of their mvr..
-
lots of companies prequalify and only dig deeper later
there are also saints on here with no past blemishes
or they think they are
just be upfront with everyone in this day and age nothing is ever hidden on the information highway -
Oh I'm up front from the get go.... Hiding something will not get you anywhere... I even pulled my own mvr just to be sure what was on it.
-
If you are getting a reasonable response form several companies I would believe it. If you finish your school at the top of your class you might get a pretty good job. It just might be more work and take a little longer. Is the seat belt on your mvr. I got a seat belt ticket and it didn't show up anywhere.

yep it sure is! I should have fought it but oh well. I have ZERO points on my license as well... Took the school for the speeding ticket
-
Then why are you on here asking and not filling out applications?
-
I have filled out one so far for Wolding and they called me pretty quick, but said they can't finish processing my app until I'm in school. I can't go to school until after the new year for financial reasons... But things are in the works. They told me things look good on my app and I disclosed everything to them. Of course they won't be the only app I fill out... Just the first.

Ditto. Sounds like you already have your answer and you're just stressing out. Don't think your thread has really accomplished anything IMHO.

my dui was 8 years old when i got my cdl and started my career. my mvr was in worse shape then yours. and i'm still here. 15 years later.
don't worry about what the other perfect saints post on here. but do worry about your future. cuz you won't keep your cdl long if you stay on the same path as the past.
remember, your cdl is your career, and your profession, and must be gaurded.
