Roadmedic covered it pretty well there. I agree about the plate and tinted window thing. What is nonwillful unsafe driving? An explanation would be a good idea with the company. The time that has elapsed since the tickets were issued will also play a factor. The longer the amount of time that has passed the less of a problem they will be, especially if your record is clean since the last ticket. What year were the two moving violations?

I was hired awhile back with jb hunt and other companies. They never gave me any problems with the unsafe driving. Does certain rules apply to certain companies.

Lilbit they were for unsafe driving(nonwillful) meaning that it was used as a plea bargain so i wouldnt recieve points for another ticket and turning without a signal. Thats it. Iv been clean since 06. Got my cdl in 06

Dunno what an abstract is in regards to a license.

However, I think that carriers will look at your entire history across all states up to a 10 year max. I had a ticket in 04 in Vegas and that popped up last fall when I got hired on with Schneider. I paid it, but MN was reporting that the Vegas ticket wasn't taken care of, so I had to spend a day on the phone calling everyone and their dog trying to get it resolved.

Also, carriers are required (I think...maybe its a company policy)...to review or get your history from you. Back in January, I had to fill a form out and send it back in to the company about my past tickets and stuff.

Companies are required to obtain a signed statement reflecting the ticket convictions you received during the last year. They are then required to run your license to verify the information.
