I don't know the wheel base on my truck but i pull a 48 flat and am 67 feet long. You'll be just fine, driver.

I took the 101 north twice last week.

You need to be in the left lane during the kingpin curves as that's the 101 lane. You need to be in the very right hand lane turning left from van ness to lombard. You'll end up in the left lane by the time you leave the last traffic light to be back on the freeway. (I've been using hte middle lane. With all the cars parked on the street. )The signs say be in the curb lane but kind of hard to do with all the traffic. Don't sweat it. Just make sure and NOT ride alongside any tour busses or tralleys. I almost hit a bus on my second trip. The road curved to the right, I had to swing over in to the left lane to keep the trailer from touching the bus. It was that close.

I HATE being on the 101 when it comes to driving through the city. But the scenery can be nice. :)

I remember those buses. When they stuck me in their straight trucks, with no experience, and no clue how to handle city traffic, I just learned to do what the bus did.

Take up as much of the road as I possibly can without hitting anything.
