    It is a well established FACT in the industry that to always avoid the steepest grades you have to turn your rig around and approach the grade in reverse. Now this may take a little more time to complete your trip but since now you are going downhill you will actually have to stop soon and remove some of the extra fuel that you saved. This is very important since if you are running heavy it could result in a overweight violation. VERY IMPORTANT !!!! DO NOT BE bothered by the honking horns, they are commending you on how good you are doing.
