Yes , i drove up and back to alaska both summer & winter. Mostly in the winter as there is less tourist. I did this for two years. Then we lost the account to another carrier. I can say that fuel is not an issue if you have the correct card, TCH will get you all the way up to teslin,YT. Fuel there and the rest is shell corporate card or shell credit card. You can fuel in tok with your shell card. I ran alaska with a set of 98 gal tanks and had no problems. When you get to the interior of alaska; plan on using the shell card exclusively. The only way I will sign a L/P with a company is if i get it in writting that i will do alot of alaska. I also have hauled loads to new foundland as well as vancouver island. If im going to be L/P, i want recognition. General freight doesnt get it for me . Flat, step,. Hope this helps some of you out there. If your a company looking for L/P you see my exp. drop me email. Im wanting sammons. But i want my alaska and new foundland

Dont worry, I will take them for you :) If you believe everything on IRT then the joke is on you. The guys at the Fox scale had lots of good stuff to tell me about the drama queens on tv. LOL

Why would anyone want to run the continental us, with all the "big strapers" and all, touch guys with 5-10 years exp that think they own the road, these premadonna's wouldnt last 10min in alaska. I was up there delivering freight in -60F weather and loved it. The white out conditions were a rush. You know you got it; when its more dangerous to stop on the road then to go on and not tell where the road ends & the ditch begins. Besides, it doesnt get fun untill you get past ft nelson,BC

Too hell with Florida and thier 80cpm loads. Plus the dang humidity, you take a shower and walk back to your truck and its time for another shower.
