Yeah. We're going to secure it to some pallets and wedge it in with some load bars.
Funny you should mention a forklift. He backed our other truck into our forklift when I pulled up this morning..... Took out the door latch :-(

No accidents on the farm in 2 years until today! Just bad luck!

The hinges bolt the door on with the pins knocked out you can buy new hinges or use a come/a/long to make the rear of trailer stay square.

Number of doors aren't required just that all existing doors be functional . Back in the day they didn't even have windshields . Put it to the wind !

Charlie Mac. Think youre wrong on trailer doors. If its fallen off there is no latch to lock it therefore not flying around. Seen plenty of day cabs pull pup trailers with no rear door

You think "I'm wrong"? I made no claims, I simply posted a link to the regulation. You're implying the FMCSA is wrong. :book:

I bet a dollar to a donut any DOT officer would not only disagree, but give you a brand spankin' new citation & an OOS order.

    (7) Gates and doors.Gates or doors shall be provided to close the means of ingress and egress and each such gate or door shall be equipped with at least one latch or other fastening device of such construction as to keep the gate or door securely closed during the course of transportation; and readily operative without the use of tools.
