Sounds like every other day of my short life at Averitt many many years ago. Flipping your schedule every other day practically as a truckload division driver, waiting on LTL load relays to run the night legs. Losing both sleep and money in the process. Didn't take me long to bail out of that miserable existence.Last edited: Apr 8, 2018

First question is, why is your schedule that far off? Did you have any indication beforehand that you would have to wait that long to drop your trailer?GOD & COUNTRY Thanks this.

forget about monsters and rockstars and energy boosters.. go to walmart and buy vitamin C . take every 4 hours 1 tab... I have tested on me.
-
I'm not OP but I do drive a truck and I can not sleep on command.
These things do happen.
If someone asked me, "after arriving at the receiver at 9:00 am and them telling you to drop at 10:00 pm, why didn't you take a nap at 10:00 am? " I'd ask them why their fish can't ride a bicycle.QuietStorm, Bean Jr., motocross25 and 4 others Thank this. -
Found out yesterday we had to wait till.tonight to deliver trailer at 10;00 pm,
My clock is set to sleep at night. -
Is that subscription or pay per book? Cost?
-
It's subscription ($15/month???? I forget) and gets you one free book credit per month and then you can also buy as many as you want, as well. They're not cheap, and you can't turn around and give them to somebody else like you can a book. So from that stand point, many will consider them them too costly outside of the monthly book you get for subscription cost. But you can buy credits 3 at a time and save significant money.
The books I like to listen to are generally in 12-13 hours long range. Avoid the abridged versions that are also out there. Most are read by a reader in a way that's very entertaining to listen to.TravR1 and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Call your dispatch and have them to move your appointment back. Tell them you are fatigued.
Bean Jr., DAX_, blairandgretchen and 2 others Thank this.
