that was the scuttlebutt when they first launched it too. I don't usually buy into that stuff but it was interesting how after the first update, you couldn't open the app without having your location on.
Makes it a little tougher to do an empty trailer search unless you wrote down every single number

 

I routinely send messages while driving to my dbl via qualcomm to my dbl while driving. He get's upset if I don't.

It's a very small issue but I wish he would just call me it would be so much safer.

 

Also with compass permissons don't matter... they simply check if the truck is moving while your using the app.
