Drop trailer at shipper / receiver issue

Bingo! I do it this way sometimes too. Just have to have it writing or the key does not turn. Sometimes a slimey broker will do this on purpose hoping you'll forget or sometimes they just get busy and forget. Either is it's irrelevant to me. It's just business. Put it in writing within a reasonable amount of time or lose the truck.

 

My two cents for what it’s worth. I don’t care if the broker makes money on the load or not. I only care if I get what I want. More than likely that broker has the ability to make money off of multiple loads a day, I only get to make money off of one load per day or couple of days.
