Ok Ive watched quite a few videos on how to drop a mechanical neck. It seems simple enough until I have to do it. (I just purchased my first DD) However, I can't find a single video on how to drop the neck of the one I have.

This is I guess air assisted...It has a brake chamber type thing and I press the button in and ...IDK I'm lost....

Im at the T/A in Baytown and I haven't seen one guy with a mechanical neck yet to ask for help. Im confused because since it has this brake chamber type thing with the pin..I don't know what order to do the steps.....

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? :)

That's a Talbert but I'm not familiar with it, you need to drop the trailer and let the teardrops get slack. I think those dowel puns on the front have to retract, there has to be a lever or valve or something on the deck to pull them in.

Nope that controls the deck lock pin, the retract would have to be on the deck.

We have valves like this on our extendable drops. Push it in and the pins retract to allow us to extend the trailer out. Screenshot_20180123-215243.jpg

I would guess your extendables aren't detaches, I bet that one runs straight to that lock pin.

My guess is the handle with the. Spring is a keeper pin that you pull out and then pull out the knob to release the air pin
