Everyone told me to go hydraulic. After hauling loads for the past few weeks I kinda see why. I would love to adjust my ride height(although I haven't needed it yet) in the front.

This is a few of the loads I've picked up so far......
That machine weighed 64k and I was soooo low to the ground. I figured out why...my front axle(on the trailer) air bags didn't "pop" on the bag and I didn't realize it until I blew a tire. Got the tire replaced and drove about 55mph from Macon Ga to Albertville AL. If you look along side the trailer where the DOT tape is..... you'll see that I was scraping the ground, I picked up some rocks backing in there.
That daycab I picked up at the port in Jacksonville. I picked it up Friday afternoon only to be told I had to return it Monday because of some red tape on the receiving end. Of course the port released it so they didn't want it back...... a few hours later they decided to take it back but of course it wouldn't start and wanted me to go buy batteries for it!snowman_w900 and cke Thank this. -

Already broke a board. I picked up a pushback tractor(not pictured)...one of the things they use to push the airplanes around from the Birmingham airport and that thing was only about 8-9 feet long but HEAVY!!!! Im dropping trailer tomorrow to re-do the whole deck. Well hopefully if we can find the oak. It'd cost over $5200 to redo the whole well in Apitong(including the center)

I assume you can shim between the 2 trailer axles and the flip axle. It would be a good idea to split weigh a few loads on the rear to make sure you are splitting the weight evenly across the 3 axles. If you do not have enough shim back there it can cause the front axle to load disproportionately heavy as well. AGAIN, I have never pulled a Talbert and it maybe one that you can’t shim.

That cross member spacing doesn't lend itself too well to heavy wheeled equipment.
We mostly haul heavy solid tire forklifts. Our Talbert RGN has 12" spacing and even then the boards flex a whole lot with our biggest lifts (around 70K). We ended up haveing to replace the boards with channel iron where the forklift tires run. The close crossmembers and channel iron makes it heavy but it's what is required with our line of work. If you ever have a 70k forklift fall through the floor, you've got problems. -
Especially if it falls through the floor while your are going down the road.
