Pretty wild how people managed to turn a discussion about auto vs manual into a race argument.

I've noticed this trend of labeling everything as wild or insane...if everything becomes wild or insane then nothing is actually wild because it all just becomes normal.......insane becomes the norm....

Also become real familiar with how your engine brakes are setup by the nerds with the laptops. At my current company one of our trucks had a setting the wouldn't allow the engine brake to activate at speeds below 35mph. Imagine trying come down from Vail on the I-70 with that setting. No thanks.

 

The new Kenworth auto I’m in isn’t bad at all backing, almost ease back like a manual. There’s still situations a manual is better, uphills & downhill a manual is better for a good driver. I won’t get into the race accident ratio, saw this coming 10 years ago after a few trips to Canada.

 

Like I said... google percentage of truck accidents by race... But that would mean you have to accept that you are wrong. So you wont.

Ive had this conversation on the board before. There have been 2 total instances that I (or anyone else that has tried to disprove me on this issue) have found in the past 6+ years where a truck was involved in a fatal accident BECAUSE the truck driver couldnt read or write english.

Feel free to prove me wrong on that. I would LOVE for someone to, I truly would. Honestly. I would. Note that this is BECAUSE THEY COULDNT READ OR WRITE. Im not saying fatal accidents arent caused by illegals. I am saying that the numbers dont bear the uproar over it. The data proves that white (non-hispanic) drivers kill more than any other racial group, and the vast majority of white CDL drivers are American. So ban American white drivers I guess by YOUR logic.

But no one can prove me wrong, because there just plain is ZERO evidence of it. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - you want to go on a witch hunt because illegals are driving trucks and killing people, Im going to stop it with facts. I (as a good man) WILL do something. Ignorance can be cured by education. This is what I am attempting to do. Cure ignorance with education.

Are foreign drivers driving down the rates? No question about it. Is there any way to stop it LEGALLY? Nope. So change the law or change professions. I retired (officially) 11 days ago. I dont give a crap anymore.
