then many times come on back...or go to Greensboro, back to richmond, take my 8, or from Richmond to Louisville, go into the bunk house.
sleepers are convenient for sure, can take a break anyplace (legally) and zone out for a nap comfortably..
but the day cabs (for me) worked out so much better.
i did have some sleepers as well, but the majority was day cabs.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -

one day, i was waiting for him..i could see out the windows, from behind the drapes..he goes to knock on MY door, i swing it open and had a plastic drinking glass in my hand, (he must have thought it was real glass) and scared the crap outta him...
no more knocking....he would THEN check with the front desk, as to who was in what rooms.....lol
this by the way was WAY AFTER i complained to my safety manager AND the VP of the company, who did very little for us....tucker and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

Those "fools".. other humans trying to earn a living too.. may well have been corralled into that truck stop by the exact same trooper. I pleaded, he forced me into it. -
Well, maybe some day you should try living in a truck with no option given for a hotel and no concern by your employer about where, how or even if you get any sleep whatsoever. -
