I've had one in 6 years. Informed only by mail. I was out of town off duty that time. Not sure how long letter was at my house. But I wasn't informed till I opened it.

No, if your consortium has 10000 drivers in it then 5000 must be tested. Supposed to be random drawing of all in the pool.

Ok... I see. Seems that th consortium's are kinda scewd in the O/O favor then... Our consortium requires that 50% of our company drivers get tested every 24 months... We have about 80 drivers and only our company is in our pool.

I think it's a little more complicated, but in general the way it works. Have always used a consortium(concentra)

I’ve used CMCI for 17 yrs. Absolutely no complaints. I also signed up a yr ago for their clearinghouse compliance package. They’ve always been great. Plenty of time to schedule a random when called. Rules might be different if O/O is the DER. Per this letter, first time I’ve heard of that. My wife’s been my DER since beginning. I once missed a random. Had 2 already that year. Forgot all about it, waited too long. They sent a warning that if it happens again, I’d be reported. Surprisingly I didn’t get another for over 3 yrs. I’d say it’s all random. Not sure though. When I had an accident with OOIDA insurance, I sure won the lottery a lot afterwards. Otherwise they’ve been very Proffesional. Every year I get a beautiful certificate for the wall, and a new card for my permit book. Makes Me feel real important!! Lol.

D0B9861C-FCE2-40AF-9D12-D274A513DA2C.jpeg This letter, new fee increases. Looks like if you’re already a Member of OOIDA. Total cost first yr. looks like $215 yr. then $165 for O/O DER. Add $85 for clearinghouse, and $45 annual OOIDA dues if needed. Must be an OOIDA Member. 17 yrs ago, it was $100 yr. Fair enough. Saves Me a lot of hassle.
