I told them I was dehydrated upon arrival, I asked for fluids. Test was at 10am I woke up at 8. Use washroom, shower, eat breakfast and arrived at 10. I told them I would need the fluids and they refused to give me any.

See where I am going with that?
When I go to my doc for the tests to show medicine etc per law, I usually put away two or three bottles of water on the way down and two more provided by the tester. I usually do not consume water until thirsty which might be a few hours on the road in trucking. Im generally dry. Having to come up with fluid in a hurry for me is a problem. So I take in fluids quite a bit on the way down. That's how I do it.
To take the ice off a little bit, a long time ago they threatened to bill people who wont produce 60 dollars a hour detention time sitting there waiting to come up with enough to fill a cup. -
Thats what I plan on doing next time is bringing my own water so they cant deny mex1Heavy Thanks this. -

If you knew you needed fluids, why not take them yourself before attending? Pick up a Gatorade on the way; I've done that. I don't know how much you would have to drink to produce a diluted specimen, but I expect it's a lot.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but for a pre-employment test can't you reschedule? I'm pretty sure I've done that, but it has been quite a while, so I don't recall exactly.
ETA: I realize neither of the above helps now, more so just ruminating out loud for future reference.Last edited: Jan 13, 2018

What is the name of lab and where are they located?

speak to supervisor at lab and straighten them out if there is not another lab you can go to. Coffee goes through the body pretty quicker than water I find. How the #### can a lab say you have poor kidney function, they can not even offer a opinion. That is not ethical and could well be illegal on their part. Only a licensed doctor can determine kidney function.
