Betel Nuts is something China purports for pain, and I know that Kratom has helped a dear friend of my wife's not needing the heavy duty crap they prescribe, that can be addictive.
MJ as of now, fits nowhere into the DOT or the FMCSA regs that I know of; then again if you are driving <26K for your dad.... i don't know those rules, sorry.
I'm one of the few guys NOT trying to dog you; just suggesting a better way if this is what you want for a LIFESTYLE in a few years.
