    What I am saying here is;

    1. U.S. drug policy is a failure.

    2. Because it is such a failure, we need to look at alternative ways of dealing with the issue.

Do you have a problem with either of those statements?

Right now I'm leaving out with 48,000 pounds of soil & fertilizer going to a hydroponics store in Fresno. Do you really think they are going to grow tomato's with it?

Actually, I heard that from a Mexican woman who grew up in Ciudad de México and who is one of the go-to people for La Raza in the Northwest.

But, since you think you're right about everything, when you are actually far Left and, by your description, are probably renting to illegals whether you would accept that or not, and run a safe-haven, you're no longer worth my time.

Another thread with a simple question about drug testing becomes a debate over legalization of poisonous sustances. Have fun arguing by yourself.

Carmen is married to an anglo, I believe that should make her legal. Janeth & Leonardo passed their citizenship several years ago. I remember they were studying when they first rented from me.

And for you, someone all to willing to insinuate your relationship with The Hell's Angels, a known violent criminal enterprise that engages in the production and distribution of drugs of all kinds as a part of their portfolio of crime, to be on here accusing me of anything is pretty hilarious.

About what I would expect from someone doing a Swift lease-purchase.

Haha - the old hydroponic stores! I'd spend $5K in equipment and another $300/month in electricity to grow tomatos and lettuce!:biggrin_25523:

I will ignore your associating me with the wrong club. You don't know any better and are trying to sound intelligent by talking when you should be listening. You sound like a petulant child when anyone disagrees with you. When you realize someone is calling your BS, you inevitably resort to attempting personal insults rather than state a real argument. Thing is, you aren't important enough to me to actually be able to insult me.

And I have nothing to hide with regard to my associations. At least they're all exactly who they say they are and don't try to pretend otherwise. You have a choice with them. Accept them or don't be around them. I only know they watched out for me when I needed it and never passed judgment on who I am as a person. That's better than you can say for yourself.

It's laughable, actually, your lame reference to Swift. As if Swift has anything to do with the discussion here....which I believe was wizz quiz or hair test. For the record, Swift uses the wizz quiz. Apparently, your company uses neither.

It was very nice of you to harbor that couple until they could get legal. Clinton's Amnesty did a great thing, yeah? You just keep running your harbor house and don't worry about what the motorcycle clubs do.

You actually believe that? The reason drugies commit those crimes, is because they don't have the money to buy their dope. There will be crime regardless if it's legal or not....unless you hand it out for free.

It's been beat to death in this thread and a hundred other threads like it.

Criminals commit crime to obtain money for whatever they choose. I've never heard of a guy robbing a convenience store to buy a bag of pot.

Read on other countries polices on drug use, especially Portugal. They spend the money rehabilitating a "druggie" instead of putting that person in prison, which also costs taxpayer money.

Quite a few of you don't make a discerning line between someone who smokes a little weed and a hard core crackhead. If you want to educate yourselves, read this article.

If you don't want to be bothered, here's a snippet.

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"Most European countries firmly believe that there can be no legal basis for prohibiting freedom of action in respect to one's own body. Most of Europe has recognized that the responsible use of cannabis by an adult, in their home, is not part of a country's crime problem. This "European" mentality of freedom to conduct one's personal affairs while respecting the rights of others stands as an example to the United States and other countries. When a tolerant and compassionate view toward drug use and drug users is realized, inevitably, nations begin to see a noticeable improvement in the quality of life for its citizens."

Just refreshing y'all on the original question. Back to debating Hells Angels and Mexican tenants.

Folks, a discussion about legalization belongs in the Politics Forum. You are welcome to continue the debate, but please start your own thread in the appropriate forum, rather than hijacking a non-political thread.
