Yes they will test you the first day. You can't smoke and expect to be a OTR driver very long. If you get caught it will sit on you DAC report for a long time which more and more local companies are turning to DAC as well. I personaly don't have a problem with smokers although there is no room for it on the roads. It's ashame all these other drivers can't just answer the question without putting thier personal two cents into it. Most of the drivers on this board tailgate, cut off other drivers, litter, etc, etc.. oh and on thier off time drink and drive....

Truckers on this forum seem to be holier than God. But they will never admit that at one time they too had anxiety about a drug screen. But now that they have changed they seem to forget where they once were? Kind of like the rich guy who forgets about the skid row he grew up on. They are just making themselves feel better at your expense.

Normies say things like, “if you didn't smoke weed then you wouldn't need be worried.” Or, “you don't deserve to be a trucker” Normies, although good people too, just don’t have any compassion for someone who has dealt with addiction. God forbid they come down with a health related issue and lose their medical card! Oh boy, then you would here them here crying, “discrimination” This is how recovered addicts must feel?

It’s a matter of fact that in such cases as a man or woman who become a parent, change their evil ways. You see, the child they bear becomes more important than pot. Or someone who really wants to better himself, as a manna be truck-driver. These wanna be’s too now have something that’s more important to them than the old drug. The trouble is that they might have now been clean for some time, but the hair follicle, they would fail. That’s why they are asking this question! This because hair test goes back so long and is unfair and discriminate. I’m sure that if some of these Normies had to do a hair test, they might get told on too?

Anyway, I think it’s a great question! I would like to see someone to just answer the dang question, straight up with no B.S.

Good luck on getting your question answered. I know for fact that C.R. England does a hair test as of 4-2011 as part of a new model test that they were involved with the CSA. And thanks FMCA for butting into peoples personal business. And what about HIPPA? Is your personal health not private? The questions that are asked on applications about your past health is against the law, but nobody does anything about that! Just a bunch of Sissies.....I recently spoke with the Civil Service and they confirmed that this is ILLEAGAL! But the fight is worthless, so I give up......

    Best,

    MR. T.
