well, i cant claim to be that angelic...i went to college once upon a time, and i was also a (sort of) professional actor (sort of means i made 14k in 4 years at it lol). ive made mistakes in my past. heck, i married satan...dont get much more stupid than that. so i have empathy for someone who made mistakes....in their PAST. i dont think someone that did drugs 10 days ago should be looking into driving a truck. but then i dont think a tax cheat should be treasury secretary. cant blame ONLY the people asking, gotta blame the permissive society that breeds the attitude as well.

wow, ok im scared now. POINT THEE SEVEN PERCENT of all violations are for drugs and alcohol???????? im now a little less critical of regulations. thats a CHILLING number. -
Hound, that is the number from roadside inspections, I would expect the real number to maybe be higher?? I can't remember the percent, BUT when the twice yearly CDL roadside safety blitz happens here in Oregon a fairly high number of CDL drivers are put OOS for drug/alcohol violations. It is scary if even one driver is DUI let alone 3,852 CDL holders in a year (.37% of all violations in 2012).

That's the problem it's not giving in English , they take the test in there native language they pass then hit our roadways/hwy. they don't flash you over or thank you for flashing them over. Give it time till you see sighns in a foreign language.
