    Hey me too.I know it slows down some in the winter so I work as much as I can now

    That's correct, fly ash is the ash that's left over after coal is burned in a power plant. It's a tan or yellowish color, whereas cement is usually gray. According to an old Cemex batchmaster, a little bit of fly ash helps the cement bond to the rock and sand in a batch of concrete.

    The loading facilities (except Green Mountain and Calaveras power plant, they were nice) the customers(MMatietta was ok...), the rates the wear and tear on equipment. Etc

    I really like what I do..More traveling hauling Cement than Sand. But Sand does pay more overall
