DRY BULK CEMENT/FLY TEXAS

Haven't seen y'all @ that I've noticed. Sounds glad your doing well hope it holds out through the winter.

 

Hey me too.I know it slows down some in the winter so I work as much as I can now

 

That's correct, fly ash is the ash that's left over after coal is burned in a power plant. It's a tan or yellowish color, whereas cement is usually gray. According to an old Cemex batchmaster, a little bit of fly ash helps the cement bond to the rock and sand in a batch of concrete.

 

As a former bulk hauler... just reading this gives me a headache.

 

Why does it gives you Headaches??

 

The loading facilities (except Green Mountain and Calaveras power plant, they were nice) the customers(MMatietta was ok...), the rates the wear and tear on equipment. Etc

I really like what I do..More traveling hauling Cement than Sand. But Sand does pay more overall

 

Sand was alot of fun for awhile.
