Dry van prices

    Today I got an email offering some dry vans for sale almost identical to mine. I have a 2015 Great Dane van, skirts, auto inflation, your typical big white box. Mine has Alcoas and a polished nose and tail but these didn't.

    Anyway, $50k each. I paid $25k for mine in 2018.

    I'm not knocking the seller. I know him, he's a good guy, leased my first trailer from him, he's just selling trailers at market value. He's probably lucky to have some right now to sell. I just can't believe the prices.

    A friend of mine just bought 6 Brand new Atco Dry Vans 6 weeks ago. Made in Mexico, picked them up in Laredo. First time I’ve ever seen one up close. They’re heavy duty. Side rails are doubled, thick aluminum with steel behind behind it. $67k each.

    I’ve been wondering myself. Been seeing them around lately. So new, I can’t see labeling them as junk. From what I saw, seems like a tough built Trailer. Much better than I expected.
