Weather looking for freight or a job there is often lots of give aways to the legitimacy of the offer in the add.
'Average' is indeed one number. If you see a range of numbers in any add you can bet it is BS that is just there too look enticing.
'Projected' is another adjective that is used. You best believe any 'projected' number is pure fiction.
Another hint is the numbers look just good enough but not too good. It is like he pulled the numbers of a load board summary. The total lack of detail is made up by the contract that he rapes you with.
Then you got the cliches: "We work with you." "Flexible work schedule." "Drive the lanes you like." "Let us handle the rest." Obviously this is total BS. As if this company has the key to all the freight. But, it sounds good. Some are dumb enough to believe it and that is why so many trucking adds contain these phrases.
After you cut out all the BS there is nothing left in the add but a phone number. Well that is something more than other adds, it is enough to say this is a shady operator. No address, no email, no website, no dot number, no history, no customers.
That is 100% right. I kind of doubt there is even a bank account in this companies name.
