I took typing class for three months to be with the girls. Two of which I enjoyed the company of immensely. God what drudgery it was type this type that type type type. No use for this typing..... Thank god computers are coming, dispose of all this paper make work crap.

How stupid I was then long ago. No clue as to the future full of typing.

I also wouldn't go the lease option if i wanted to own my own, having good credit and a
I greatly appreciate your insight as there is always something to learn from ones experiences. I'm just wanting to run west and most 48. Alot of things I like about reefer as I do like different schedules rather than always the same old same old. In short I guess I'm saying as long as it's up to me to get a job done,I'm confident in my abilities but don't like to be setup for failure right from the start, only to be told "thats trucking"

Make sure you are top dog, be number one. the view is best there. Don't be number three, it's not a good view.

I'm looking into smaller fleets, especially companies who do not have lease operations.

The 48 state thing gets old fast. Usually more dollars are made on short hauls in the industrial states. Having an extra trailer or two can help so customers can load your wagon, hook up and go trucking. The magic of "out west" will disappear quickly when all you offered is loads that are not profitable.

Out west is very good. I rather be out west than dealing with the parasites on my fuel tank in Camden Jersey any day. There is a part of the Intermountain west that demands absolute best you have or you will be killed. Or get someone killed. It's a basic primal nature itself. And the People? They come from ancestors who traveled a year to get to where they are now and are not likely to raise hell or fuss about little things that gets a east coaster all whiney and pissy.
