I find this to be a interesting viewpoint. What brought that on? Did you have too much of the west? Or did something bad happen?

I think he wants to be a company driver; he's not an 0/0.

You might look into lessors. I know it's refer but they run west. There was a driver from Pennsylvania posting on here for a while before he got kicked off

I am in the same boat. Surprised to find this thread. Am coming up on my year, 7 months Schneider, 5 months US Xpress, tired of "East of I-35" life.
More interested in DryVan, will check out Danny Herman posts, thanks China...

I just wish my company would run West but I knew coming in as I needed to get my start here. I'm happy with how they run me especially on recaps. It's been such a no hassle kinda,of job, though some little hiccups here and there but what I've read about refrigerated freight haulers is that it seems like it's so much of headache, such ridiculous load and unload times always seeming to be late for the next delivery or pickup. For some strange reason especially since I'm in a nice gig now (dryvan),I'm wanting to dance with the devil (reefer life) but mainly want to experience travelling out west and more than just Midwest and Northeast.

Good heavens to Betsy, I could have written the same post virtually verbatim...
I am on a dedicated account with a healthy "true up", USX people are cool and the pay is always correct and on time.
I came on and met a guy in orientation, same age, same music, smoked way too much... ended up teaming. We got on an account running Columbus OH to LA, 70 to 44 to 40. Heaven, huge miles... He freaks out after 3 weeks and gets himself fired, lol.
Headed up to WI today, (freezing rain/snow forecasted) to pick up a load going to Rochester NY, (in the middle of their first lake effect blizzard of the season) Ahhhh, the joy of Midwest/East regional winter driving...
I am looking into Hummer and Danny Hermann based on Chinatown's posts... May end up in reefer madness with Holland, Lessors or GTW, but will avoid it if possible.
Figure to move to Nevada first, probably March, then hire on with a coast to coast company with well over a year driving and stable work history, a full year with USX..

Got a substantial sign on bonus to collect from USX too... They will finish off my "Team" bonus even though I will be solo for the last 6 months..
