Sorry, I didn't mean to come off quite so condescending. You don't have your location by your screen name so I wasn't sure where you were or are from. Of course there are some who could be naive to the western way of driving. Myself in a way. I lived out west (Phoenix), but did mostly Phoenix to LA, Phoenix to Vegas, and Phoenix to Salinas turns, so I didn't play in the snowy mountains much. I know what's involved in western 11 driving, but never really had to physically do it, and at this stage of my own career, not sure I want to.

Good luck to you and Trucker Who in finding a good company and getting the western runs you guys want!

I've haul tanker loads of acid from Tennessee to Phoenix. One place on the east side of Phoenix; Fuji is the company, and another an asphalt plant not far from the Flying-J. Loved tankers, unload then deadhead back to Tennessee and paid the same both ways; all company drivers.

Not anywhere near wealthy; Ramen Noodles wealthy. Yep, retired. Live in Henderson 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Wanted to live in Chinatown but no 3 bedroom 2 bath w/garage was available for sale. The place I bought is 3 bedroom 4 bathroom w/attached 2 car garage. Big HOA fee, but it's worth it.
propertyvegas.com helped me find a nice place. Chinatown section is listed on her website. Chinatown on the west side of the interstate across from the strip. Lots of massage action over there. Probably better for me not to live there.

I believe it's poly Trucking out of Grand Prairie Texas I have a real good friend almost like a brother to me that works there he seems to be very happy. I believe they are what you would call a private fleet they have their own product out call Poly America or something like that. And broker loads back to or close to one or the other of their plants. .50/com hub
