When these are your typical interactions with police officers, it's little wonder that fleeing is seen as a viable option. Lawfulness will not protect a person from the police.

 

I slightly understand that. But I see it like this. He had already shot at them. They didn't know he was unarmed. Left the gun in the car. They couldn't stop him with the tasers. He turns suddenly raising his arm at them. There's 8 officers. They think either they or one of the other officers is about to be shot. So they unload their weapons to protect each other. If there had been 2 officers. It would have been 22 bullets. But All they did was empty their magazine into what they felt was a threat a human life.

Truly I'm sorry that the kid lost his life. But sadly he committed suicide by cop. IMO. Unintentionally.

 

I agree with you on this they had a right to shoot if that’s the way the scene played out.
Unfortunately the reason for all the rounds is mob mentality. Just like any other group or “brotherhood”.
I used to belong to a 1% motorcycle club and it was the same way. If you attached one of my “brothers” were all kicking your ### whether he was right or wrong.
Cops are no different than the “gangs” they pursue in a case like this.

 

They do this 100% of the time.

"He be a good boy"
"He was trying to do right"
"He just enrolled in school"
"He was trying to turn his life around"
"He don't mean harm"

And the list of shenanigans they spew goes on and on...

It's pretty sad that you can do a Google search on this guys name and literally over 50 articles pop up, but yet on more important issues in this country when you do a search, barley anything comes up because the fake news ignores those things that don't fit their narrative.

It's flat out disgusting.

 

If it was you. Would you just shoot once or twice? Or would you empty your clip to be sure you lived? It's not a mob mentality. It's I want to live. Kill him before he kills you.
