Yes, it does come down to a single driver facing down the company. It shouldn't have, it happens because the next driver will break what ever rules need to be broken to get the load there. In the long run we have brought this on ourselves.

Once the EOBR's and CSA2010 come on line and enforced it will take some time to get rid of the bottom feeders. During this time there will be drivers taking hits for it. It comes down to at what point is a rules just petty and we can all break it? For the very beginning of trucking the HOS rules have been a joke, it's taking the EOBR's to fix it.

At what point is a rule petty and only enforced on a whim by the LEO to piss off a driver. Unless you clearly defined rules to enforce, some will always try skirt the letter of the rule.

You have the right to be guilty, you have the right to remain guilty, you have the right to give up lot's of your money.......

Did I miss any other rights we have as drivers?

The major problem with OOIDA is that they are reactionary and not proactive. The time they get around to suing about this will be 3 or 4 years down the road.

Anything you do, dont do, say or dont say will be held against you because you are guilty anyway.
You have the right to consult with an attorney but it wont matter as you are guilty anyway.
You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning but it wont matter because you are guilty anyway.
If you cannot afford an attorney, well, sucks to be you. It wont matter because you are, you guessed it, GUILTY ANYWAY!
If you dont understand these rights, well, you are stupid and it, what is it class? Thats right! GUILTY ANYWAY!!!
    Ain't that the truth???

another thing about this crap say you're riding down the interstate and a car loses control and sideswipes you

highway patrol is called out rules you not at fault

you still get points on csa2010 because there will be nothing to show preventable or not preventable
