Read joseph 1135 replie and Tony I dont think your out of line nor am I upset with joseph1135 all Im sayin is if you have ever got in your pov after a few beers your just as guilty you just didnt get caught Im sorry but I find it hard to believe that if someone drinks 90 percent have drivrn is that a fair assesment?

 

I guess this all starts because some poor slob comes on here admits to a dui asks for advice and then is told to learn the phrase would you like to supersize that order.

 

Yep many of us have never because we were never that dumb.

But to add something to the overall discussion. even if you have your criminal record expunged (which I think should never be allowed in many cases), there are always ways to find that info out and a potential employer or someone who you want to contract with as an o/o or driver under 1099 rules does not have to tell you why you were rejected.

 

Joseph1135 I salute you and I also believe you. All Im sayin is your info about companies not hiring with a dui less than 5 years old is not accurate. It all depends on your dl record and the insurance carrier willing to pick you up.Im not advocating drunk driving just saying people need accurate info.

 

I'm old school, Got one simple thing. They have a right to keep everyone safe. I got pulled in to a terminal 5 times in one month. That's a little bit weird. I pee & go. Told my Travel agent that was getting to be a pain. BUT I was driving their truck & trailer. Got paid out of route miles, & bonus miles. If you are not on Your land, sitting in Your house, your working. I have turned loads down because I had too much the night before. But I was home. If you want to be a drunk or dope user be a good one, If you want to be a Trucker act like one. You can't be both. People are people, Drivers have to be better.

 

Ridgeline people like you are the reason I dont stay on these forums you start running your yap and calling people dumb. Im sorry but I dont belive that you have never made a mistake and if you havent you just didnt get caught. So call people names as in dumb all you want I dont need to lower myself to that level I was just trying to give someone accurate info period.
