Try this company if you dare :)

Reefer teams out of Melbourne..home weekly I believe. They use to put advertising on CL..

Trust me, I don’t endorse the company and would never personally work for them. It’s just a lead for you and I really don’t know if they’d accept your dui. Seems like they go through a lot of drivers so that may work in your favor.

Bad enough being from Florida without a dui on your record.

    Good luck!

Most insurance companies want 5 years before covering someone post DUI.

Over 40 years in this industry I've seen one or two that are ok after 3 years and the worst was 10 years.

The company may want someone sooner but with out insurance approval can't do anything.

Today's CDL market is full of cleaner applicants right now.

Time is what it takes to heal a DUI.

If you're badly in need of a driving job ASAP, you probably shouldn't be too choosy until your record blows over for awhile.

FL is a bad state for freight. The state manufactures very little. Lots of inbound freight & lots of trucks going to GA for a backhaul. There are some companies that hire drivers from I-4 and above. If I wanted to be a snow skier I wouldn't move to FL. If you really want a trucking job you may need to consider leaving FL. Not every job is available everywhere.

Do an internet search for trucking companies & nearest larger city near you. Then apply at all of them, don't just call and ask the receptionist "you aren't hiring inexperienced truck drivers with a DUI, are you?" That will ALWAYS produce no job.

Make yourself useful to a trucking company during the hurricane cleanup efforts.

An example would be to show up to Saddleback Logistics and tell them you have a CDL and you're here to help. Don't mention pay, just present your credentials and get right to work.
