Duke transportation???

He sounded like a true American trucker when I called. But kinda glad I did not go to check it out.

 

Dukes craigslist ad rambles on about the great money and the great transparency the company has. It makes you think that you want to get in because it sounds so good. It says they show the O/O the original rate sheets. Donovan makes a good sales pitch on the phone. He says all the right things, sounds like an old school operation, but it sounds just like an overblown sales pitch, by a practiced pitch man. I never went any further just a gut feeling I got told me no. I too would like to hear from real owner ops who have run with them for the real story.

 

No fuel surcharge is given to the owner operator. Owner pays for the tolls.

 

Would very much like to get a "credible" review of this company. Info regarding pay. rates. truck gross. etc., from Drivers or Owners.Just want factual info, not conjecture or gripes.

Well my best friend leased on there.. we lasted a month. They take thirty percent off the top. They charge you 230 a week for insurance and other small amounts every week. We had two runs that paid good but they were short runs. Did the northeast twice and if you know the northeast they don't pay anything coming out. Most companies are out to rip you off and these guys are no different. Duke made more than the owner did. Anyone need any proof I'll leave my email if you'd like.
