I’ve inherited a 28ft aluminum tandem axle dump trailer, it has been sitting for a few years. It needs new tires. It has 11r24.5 tires on it currently. my mechanic recommended cheap tires since they never last.
I found some speedmax ss622 steer all pos 16ply tires.
I am wondering if 16ply will work? Or I need something different? Any other brands to look at?
the set of 8 is just over 2k plus mounting etc.

    Diesel Dave Thanks this.

I put IronMan I-301 on my end dump and have been pleased with them. Cut/chip resistant and they shed rocks very good. 11R-24.5 / 16 ply.

They are some brand I’ve never heard of, but I imagine they will work.
