Emerson holds up real well in a truck. Sony is good also.

Buy a small inverter and run a regular 120 v unit. You will have many more choices and they will be cheaper, enough to pay for the inverter.

considering that you can't rent dvd's. being in a truck. and the ones for sale are oldies.

my laptop does just fine for watching dvd's. and i have a usb tv tuner. but i've gotten nothing but crap local stations.

I'm with most here, I have a small 400 watt inverter, a 19" Vizio from Walmart, and a cheap Sharp (I think) dvd player, has lasted alot longer than any of that crap the truck stops sell and was cheaper.

ummm, finding a redbox where a truck can park is virtually unheard of.

i've only found one. and it was a walk. but i've been mostly west coast.

only other redboxes have been by a motel. when the truck is in the shop.

but it would be REALLY nice if truckstops had them.
