You could put whatever kind of false bottom you want in them, but if its welded in, you're going to be able to see an outline of it from the outside. The bigger question is how are you going to be able to burn farm fuel for any amount of time without someone finding out about it, your supplier, your neighbor, your competition, etc. Go down that path if you want, but you're playing with fire.![]()

Well I figured so much as to the answer I'd get. Been playin around a bit in the shed and I got most all of the dye out. I'm gonna keep at it cause I seen it done and now I think I can do this myself too. Y'all do what you like, but I'm goona save me some good money here. I ain't afraid of no DOT man or tax man, ain't had no trouble askin around and listenin to the radio to aviod em when I got to.

Good Luck.............as someone just noted.....the fuel supplier will get curious about the quantity of off road fuel you purchase. He'll want to know where it's going and why. I saw a fuel supplier back charge the road taxes to someone for this very thing.............plus they still had the red fuel in their tanks to get rid of, with the possibility of getting stopped and a sample taken.
