What’s interesting is I regularly see two different recruiting videos, from two different gals, come through my FB feed (sponsored, of course). IIRC, one of them says something like “Where real truckers come to truck.”. If they’re struggling to find loads, I don’t see the reason to hire drivers. If anything, auction off equipment and reduce capacity.

I’ve been parked at least 8wks of this year. We’re at about 1/2 the drivers we started the year with, at the location I work out of. They just dumped a mess of tractors and trailers and we still have trailers packed into every possible space. The whole industry is hurting.
