You only really run nights if you choose to do..I’ve only had once instance where i had to drive iver night because my hours dicated it with del appt..other wise drive by sleep at night…we run dry freight out west and frozen, meat or produce coming back to midwest..longest unload has been 5hrs in woodburn Oregon but it was at night then went down the street to my pick up and spent the night..as far as pay.. first week which only had one load on it out of orientation was $1158gross, 1930mi…2nd check was $2082 gross on 3471 mi..3rd check was $1340 on 2234 mi.. this next will be apx $2738 on 4564mi..as far as the lanes, couldn’t ask for anything better than these lanes they run…as long as you send in your detention macro they pay detention too..also 7paid holidays a yr whether or not you work them at $200 a day.

Oh the only thing I could find in the handbook would fall under the bad weather policy and it clearly states a driver is to just use their best judgment…

@drvrtech77, were you bouncing across 80 in Nevada today? I passed one of your trucks around Winnemucca, a blue Pete.

and it looks like your rate is 60cpm so you didnt get hazmat yet? extra 5 cpm a mile on all
so 144k miles you get a raise so like basically every year by 1 cpm? and it looks like you dont have hazmat? but hazmat cert pays 65 cpm on all miles or just hazmat loads.

If you have hazmat/tanker endorsement they pay you .65mi…if you haul a hazmat then on that load they pay .70mi…if you dont have the endorsements they will 100% reimburse the cost of getting it.
