Dynasys APU Recall

I have a Dynasis APU. Did lots of research before buying. Love the design. Its own radiator, 110 volt gen. It is the worst money I have ever spent. Constant failures. Bought it for piece of mind. So many problems it may put me out of business. Headache after headache. A/C stopped working, 110 volt outlet stopped working. Now I am sitting in PA with my old motor idleing because APU just started up after about five seconds fan stopped blowing heat. Lost time waiting for work to get done, then repair last a day or two. Food thrown out because I can't keep it cool, or because I can't use microwave to cook it. I'm paying to go insane and loose money. Bonus extra 500 lbs.

take it to boomer diesel in OKC if it is still under warranty. You won't be disappointed!

 

You are not the only one with Dynasys problems. Purchased mine 18 months ago. 5 ECM's and touch screens replaced, alternator, in three times for not cooling properly, condenser replaced, generator replaced 5 months ago, stopped making electric a week ago. They have stood be hind all the repairs, but none of the shops have parts. so one shop will diagnose the problem then another shop will do repairs. or I will do myself or at my cost.

 

had mine 2 years now , only 3 problems. boomer is the best, after seeing other units and installs of different apu. I am convinced the installation is the source of many problems

 

I'm tellin yah boomers doesn't f*** around! They'll run two or three tests and if it doesn't pass them they'll drop the whole unit off and strap a new one on if its under warranty

 

I got one and it hasn't worked yet... Motor runs great, it puts out electricity, but it doesn't heat or cool ... It only has 3 hours on it ... It came on my truck when I bought it.... It's a brand new 2014 freightliner ... I think the dynasys was installed in Tulsa but not sure

 

Call Jim at Boomers in okc. They'll get it straightened out.

 

They are sending me to vanguard in Atlanta for Monday... Hoping they get it straightened out... If not I will go to boomers when I am in OKC again ... Thanks
