E-Log vs. Log Books???

I can offer a view point from the other side. The company I am with has switched to eLog. We have a guy that is doing our recoveries for us and getting paid $250 per day. We were chatting the other day while he was waiting for his next assignment and he told me he can't wait to get back into his lease truck because he makes more money, even running eLogs.

 

I know when I was with Prime, we were allowed to use line 5 to, as long as you were not under any dispatch, to drive home from your last destination or if you were leaving sh/rec to drive to the nearest safe haven.

 

I;ve been disected several times. They like my logs. Screw those e-logs.
