    But not up enough for me. My Christmas day surcharge is $25,000. I am going home after I get done delivering here today. And of course it is ### dragging day.

    Not really.

    We have a few more trucks idle this year than last, most of those drivers are home for the holidays and those running by choice are seeing a little more.

    I really don't see the huge increases with elds happening with the over capacity we have.

    I'm seeing rates rocket and brokers telling me they gotta pay more to get trucks.
    Got 1400 mile load to Seattle for $5800, next day same lane was paying $6000- $7000

    Global Tranz has been on a do not haul list with many carriers. It's been a few years now, maybe they are better

    Summer before last I ran quite a few short runs for them, like 200 mile average to just reposition myself. The rate was always decent, but they don't pay for 45 days. They never burned though.
