Except those that have already figured out how to run quite effectively on E-logs.

Government mandate how truck drivers are to be paid... riiiiiight......

Be careful what you wish for ...if the pay is not up to par then find somewhere it is, why do people scream for the government to solve all their problems anymore??

I don't scream for the gooberment to solve our problems. I wish they'd just stay out.

I run much more effectively on paper. Elogs can't compete.

I for one don't see it as people running to the government for help... it's the government that continues to make new as well as changes to existing regulations that further squeeze and burden drivers. Without any real data, knowledge of the industry, drivers, under their delusional mentality that one size fits all drivers. The regulations are made in the name of safety, when in fact. the opposite is occurring! What needs to happen is for drivers to unite to take action to catch the attention of lawmakers, regulatory agencies, shippers/receivers and carriers. I'm NOT advocating joining a/the union but the unification of drivers. We move America's goods! A united drivers' front to an organized shutdown of moving Americas goods will catch appropriate attention that will begin to catapult a track towards positive change for drivers! Easier said than done...
