I would love to ask them that, but they dont know they dont have any e-logs yet. The recruiter said "we are on paper now, BUT we will be going to e-logs 1st of the year" thats all they know at the moment....:biggrin_2557:

If they have a line 5 it'll be better as i can at least get a truck wash on a 34 and not have to restart the 34.

I know i can trip plan with my eyes closed, but the world is a perfect place on paper :biggrin_25525:

Fair enough you did say that. I wouldn't sweat it too much, eLogs are pretty simple. Keep us up to speed on what type they are using. I'm always up for learning how others are doing it.

We have Xata Elogs . They feed into my Blackberry . When I log off duty I hit options , then remarks and there is a personal conveyance option .
Before we got the units our affiliate owner showed me the Xata website that explained the operation of it . I don't have all that Macro crap . Much like a paper log . Choose from Off Duty , Sleeper , Driving or On Duty at the bottom . Hit the option then remarks for inspections , breaks , etc . At the end of the day I log off and it just asks if the logs are correct .
